I thought Daniel Gildenlow played in a band called The Flower Kings a few years ago (Adam and Eve).

Ahh, oh yes, how could I forget? undecided

I even saw him play with TFK a couple of times AND Transatlantic.

Not so keen on PoS though.

So when do you think The Flower Kings will play the UK again? Is it such a rare thing or likely next year?

That's a great question, Jo, and one that I'm more than happy to answer for you grin

Put it this way (no not that way!), I've seen them on these occasions:

November 2002 - Rotherham

October 2003 - London (Mean Fiddler)

October 2004 - London (Mean Fiddler)

April 2005 - London (Borderline) - technically speaking it was "Circus Brimstone" wink

December 2006 - Rotherham

November 2007 - London

So, that's pretty much once a year since 2002 which is as much as you could ask of any band. Especially one who (allegedly) loses a packet by coming over to play in the UK.

Hopefully we'll see them over here next year at some point.

If I hadn't recently been on various lads weekends, etc, I'd be looking to go over to one of the gigs in Europe to be honest wink

And, I hope that answers your (excellent) question, young lady smiley

Cheers

Nov,
why thank you so much for that very imformative and detailed answer to my question. Your punishment will no longer be necessary as you have proved you have your "focus" back and are no longer distracted. grin laugh

He's wielding it like a wotsit extension you know. I hope you're aware of that and not too shocked

A colleague of mine saw them in Sheffield on Monday and was raving about it the next morning. Mind you, this is a bloke in his late 30s who's been to about 2 concerts (including that one). He'd have been blown away by "Smokie" to be honest grin

Have a great time though!!

(Is it Wembley again rolleyes)
