You and Fraser do, of course, need to read all 129 (oops - 130) pages of this thread to qualify to add to it but I'm sure you knew that already wink

Great to have you on board smiley

You're a hard task master, Nov!
I'm sure they need only read 24 or 25 pages to qualify!
Nice to see both of them here - welcome CC! cheesy

These are the nearest pubs next to Angel station 'The Glass Works' being on top of the venue which would be ideal . They are all close so if anyone has a preference I really don't mind.

Thanks Nov! Kind of gives me a whole new appreciatin for TSONE. These guys know how to play and do it well. Nice performance by Pat on drums as well. Would have liked to heard more of Tomas on keys, but I suppose it was the recording device that was the problem.

Think of me stuck here in California when you guys are at the show floating 2 feet off the ground..........from being high on the music.........what else would you be high on? wink

Really love the album. It's very similar to Flower Power.

Simply incredible stuff. But that's just after 3 plays. grin

That's good to hear...I got Flower Power last week but have not had time to play it yet.
My favourite album so far is Stardust We Are...so if the two are similar then that's just fabbo.. smiley

Enjoy the album, it's full of great music

My favourites are:

The Man Who Walked With Kings
In The Eyes Of The World
Poor Mr. Rain's Ordinary Guitar
Ghost Of The Red Cloud

and of course the sublime...
Stardust We Are - 25 minutes of magic! wink

i will be seriously surprised if there is another to match Stardust...Space Revolver is the closest so far.

cheers

My favourite album remains (after I previously stated Retropolisby a distance) Flower Power.

Difficult to explain why but certainly "Shadowland" and "The Final Deal" are the best tracks from the band I've heard.
The whole album is incedible. I have started to play the music through my earphones (not headphones unfortunately) and the sound is awesome. Stardust We are and Retropolis are equal second.

Boy, this band are good. smiley

Please don't jump to conclusions Jo. This band deserve several plays to let the music sink in.
Awesome band, hopefully one you'll grow to love. smiley

Nah I wasn't having a pop at FK! My 1988 reference was to my days of trying to get my homework done at school!

And do let Nikki talk you into going to the Riverside gig at the end of the month, Jo! You know it makes sense.

Enjoy the Flower Kings. And If you don't enjoy them just watch Nov. You'll really enjoy that.
