in exactly six hours, The (incredible) Flower Kings will go on stage in Oslo.. I have sent a few emails with Tomas as well, and he said they were going out in the concert room after the gig for a little chat with the audience!!

I'll post a lengthy review and setlist tomorrow if you all want to, plus some pictures of me and the Kings!
I guess some of you would like the excitement of not knowing the setlist, so I can hold that information, and those who want it can tell me, and I'll PM yousmiley

Didrik!!

Great to have you back smiley

Enjoy the concert - you'll have a fantastic time and I look forward to your in-depth review. Personally, I'm more than happy to see a full set-list in this thread. What about everyone else?

How many are expected there?

Have you noticed there is a fellow Scandinavian posting here called Manda?

Have a great time

rolleyes

Notice that Rosie appears in here for the first time in weeks just after Didrik returns rolleyes

grin

So what did you think of that TFK CD then Rosie? It'd be great if you fancied coming to the gig on Sunday - then you'd have something to pm Didrik about wink

It certainly brightens the place up having these young, attractive Scandinavians around doesn't it? wink

Cheers

Thanks Nov, I am sure it will be best concert of my lifesmiley The venue has a capacity of avout 1500 people I think, so i am not really sure if they can fill it up, but they played a smaller venue last year and it was sold out they say. Anyway i hope for a large and enthusiastic crowdsmiley

Yeah, I saw Manda posting here, nice to see someone who doesn't babble along about places, venues, football teams and so on in Englandtongue

If I was young, free and single I'd be offering to whisk Manda off to one of the Swedish gigs wink

It's nice to see Didrik back, it's nice to see Manda becoming a regular, it's nice to see Nov and Mal about to get married - that's what I like about this forum. It's so friendly and charming!
(It's also nice to see Nikki being, as ever, understated and shy.) grin

Glad I'm just a simple Flower Kings fan, in fact, I'm glad I'm just simple! cheesy

Enjoy the concert Didrik, and I too look forward to your review, totally unbiased, of course! wink

Well spotted, Nov! Methinks Rosie has been caught out! grin

Funnily enough, your comment about Scandinavians got me thinking, and I then realised that they and I have much in common. Apart from the fact I am neither young, attractive nor Scandinavian, the similarites are remarkable! grin

Hej! So you are a Flower Kings fan now? Very good. That was quick!
Of course, you meant Genesis. So which Genesis album is your favourite, Manda? wink

I'm hoping to be in the vicinity by 18:30 though It's up to my neighbour as he's driving. There's 5 of us coming down from here and we're meeting up with my mate Gaz (a Gooner rolleyes) who's training in from near Woking.

It'd be great if she was feeling well enough to come along.

By the way mate, I do know what you mean about TSONE. We'll chat more on Sunday if we get the chance. What's the word on the 1st December?

Cheers

Ok mate thats great me and Nikki will already be lubricating somewhere getting ready for our FK debuts grin

I have played the album 3 times today and am still battling with it to be honest , It's still not a patch on Space Revolver for me though I love Life in Motion , very Yesy.

Nice one.

Just let me know where you're going to be wink

That last track is my favourite at the moment coz it's the one that is the nearest to what I love most about them. I'm still not getting the shiver-up-the-spine moments from the rest of the album. Like I keep saying, it all actually sounds great as it goes along but isn't quite hitting the ultimate spot for me at the moment. I really can't put my finger on why though. Maybe it's more technical than emotional or something?

Anyway, it'll all be great live wink

Seeya Sunday!
