Well, it's cost me $48.61 American, but I finally got a copy of The Tangent's "Going Off On One" CD/DVD combo.

Thanks amazon.com for backordering it 3 times, after I originally ordered this from you back in August, only to finally realize all copies had sold out.

Amazon were only charging me $23 with free shipping, but no copies were available from anywhere. Apparently, only a few thousand copies of the CD/DVD combo were made.

Finally, I found it at www.cdplus.com, based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada (my hometown coincidentally). But it cost me $48.61 with tax and shipping. If any of you owns this DVD, could you please give me your thoughts on it?

I'm hoping to find the time tomorrow to watch it.

And when you've watched it, let's know what you think of it, as I am tempted to get it at some point! wink

Boy are you in for a treat. Considered overwhelmingly to be their best it seems. Well, that and "Flower Power."

While I'm on here, didn't you buy the DVD/CD digipak of The Tangent's "Going Off On One"? I just received mine yesterday and watched it today. WOW! Read my review in the November Playlist thread.

Not me mate. I have just one album "The World That We Drive Through", so I have nothing to compare, but that is a good album smiley

You were asking about gigs in Sweden.

Well, our faves, The Flower Kings have got these dates next week (I've included the Norway one as well)

Tue Nov 06, 2007 Oslo, Norway Rockefeller

Wed Nov 07, 2007 Uppsala, Sweden Katalin

Thu Nov 08, 2007 Gothenburgh, Sweden Sticky Fingers

If it is at all possible for you to get to one of these then do so as they are a band for Sweden to be very proud of. I'm not sure how far you are from Uppsala (home of TFK) and Gothenburg.

More details at: www.flowerkings.se

Cheers

I'm hoping to be in the vicinity by 18:30 though It's up to my neighbour as he's driving. There's 5 of us coming down from here and we're meeting up with my mate Gaz (a Gooner rolleyes) who's training in from near Woking.

It'd be great if she was feeling well enough to come along.

By the way mate, I do know what you mean about TSONE. We'll chat more on Sunday if we get the chance. What's the word on the 1st December?

Cheers

in exactly six hours, The (incredible) Flower Kings will go on stage in Oslo.. I have sent a few emails with Tomas as well, and he said they were going out in the concert room after the gig for a little chat with the audience!!

I'll post a lengthy review and setlist tomorrow if you all want to, plus some pictures of me and the Kings!
I guess some of you would like the excitement of not knowing the setlist, so I can hold that information, and those who want it can tell me, and I'll PM yousmiley
