You'd go down well on a Flower Kings album:
very complex, yet uplifting and able to give pleasure for years!

Just ordered Flower Power on amazon.com. I received a $25 rewards certificate from them in the mail yesterday, with no explanation as to why they sent it to me....maybe as amends, because my Tangent CD/DVD Going Off On One was ordered in August and still isn't here yet.

Nonetheless, I get Flower Power free. I pay nil. Can't wait to get my grubby lil' hands on this 'un cool cool cool

Interesting choice that.

There's a definite influence from YES on this track, heck it even sounds like Jon Anderson is singing. If you have the Tormato album, you might know what I mean.

I wonder if that was a deliberate take by the band?

I'm here at last (check your pm)

I went to Rome on my mystery trip. Loads of fun but I am now knackered and off work with sciatic problems.

Could you PLEASE?

I did ask Fraser on the other forum but could you send me one as well just in case. I could always give one copy to my neighbour who is also coming to the gig.

I will buy it as well of course.

Cheers

The Flower Kings have been compared to Yes for years. I detect the Yes influence in many songs, and that's something I like about them, seeing as I love Yes as well.
Hasse often sounds like Jon Anderson, though, to be honest, he is a far better technical singer than the Yes front man, and can vary his voice far more.
'Church Of Your Heart' sounds like it could have been lifted straight from the 'Going For The One' album, well, on the chorus at least, and it has that pipe organ sound that Yes were using at the time.
And there are many other examples. wink
