...just spent the last two hours listening to Flower Power again. Still half way thru' cd2.
Gotta say it's a brilliant album. The suite of Garden of Dreams is quite impeccable, but now I'm focusing on cd2.
Stupid Girl has surprised me a tad because of it's fiery nature, and it's brilliant smiley

A couple of my (and Mal's) friends saw The Flower Kings in concert last night at the inaugural Symforce festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

They described their set as "a sterling two hour set, which was extra memorable due to it being drummer Zsoltan's (sp?) last gig with them - also played two tracks from the upcoming new album"

Is this correct about the drummer leaving for good?

We all thought he'd left for good after the "Adam and Eve" tour so I'd never rule out Zoltan playing with the band again.

I'd just love to hear from Roine why Zoltan isn't playing the whole tour.

It's a staggeringly great album isn't it?!
I love it so much!
Play CD2 loads too, Stupid Girl, which i have adopted as my song of course grin wink is just brilliant, i love singing my heart out to that and Magic Pie, oh and Painter grin Oh ok the whole thing!

Yeah Nov, i would love to know why Zoltan isn't doing the whole tour! I was so pleased he did the album as i felt i'd missed out on his era, so to speak.
But now he's not doing the whole tour! cry

The quality is borderline, but what a blessing to get to see anything new. I love it Nov! Thanks for sharing!

If you've not done so, watch it in FULL SCREEN. It's like being in the audience. Click the lower right box in the YouTube video window.

Watch/listen to FOCUS at the Symforce 2007 show as well. Who's in the band nowadays? Are Thijs and Jan still in the group? Would've given my left nut to be at that event. Yes, I'm married and still have a left nut......that's all I have..... tongue

There's a lengthy thread on the Symforce festival on Prog Archives. Some of the members met up for an afterparty too...

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=40015

And I may as well rank the albums in terms of preference, too...

1- Stardust We Are
2- Retropolis
3- Back In The World Of Adventures
4- Space Revolver
5- Unfold The Future
6- Flower Power
7- Paradox Hotel
8- Adam And Eve
9- The Rainmaker
