I pm'd Steve on the other site about changing the name of the TFK thread over there to just "The Flower Kings" so we can just keep it going with it when the new album comes out.

I think we can just carry on with this one as well to be honest. The title is fine.

What do you (and the others) think?

Nov

Sounds like an excellent plan ........ simple, easy to remember ........ i like it! grin

Carl!

So would you consider coming down for the gig then? TFK not The Phantoms rolleyes before Nov gets in there with that one! wink

Liverpool Lime Street to Euston Sunday lunchtime grin
Gig of the year, no question, do you really want to miss this? No ......... you don't.
You can stop at our place, get direct train back in the morning from Watford Junction, have you back in Liverpool for 10am Monday morning! grin

You could go straight to work! laugh

It's the "new" Genesis forum that was set up when the tour was announced. There is a massive TFK thread there as well wink

Here's the link (but you will probably have to sign up to see it):

Now there's an offer! cheesy
Will have to give it some serious consideration.

However, the big news today is: I will be missing from the forum for quite some time now! (Relief all round, I can sense it!)
My holidays start from now. Two weeks for me and the wife to look at the wallpaper together! grin
Seriously, we haven't decided what we're doing yet, but may go up to Scotland for a few days. (Strangely enough, I've never been further north than Carlisle.)
Will be in touch as and when I can, unless aliens whisk me off to a far distant, strange planet where all musicians play only progressive rock and work entails only brewing beer and eating the fruit from The Lamia.
Enough! Must go before the white coats really whisk me off!
See you all soon, my adoring fan(s).

Carlos - the hyperventilated squirrel.

A couple of my (and Mal's) friends saw The Flower Kings in concert last night at the inaugural Symforce festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

They described their set as "a sterling two hour set, which was extra memorable due to it being drummer Zsoltan's (sp?) last gig with them - also played two tracks from the upcoming new album"

Is this correct about the drummer leaving for good?
