Nikki! Are you still alive?
People have been phoning you and knocking on your door, but to no avail.
Please let those that care for you know you are safe and well, then you can go back to watching the dvd. wink

So Nikki, you haven't watched disc 2 yet eh?
Still got the excitement to come, you lucky thing!
The footie, hee hee, I was laughing at that. Typical England performance.
I am one of those who likes Germany, they are my third fave team, behind England and Sweden.
Still, I expect we'll scrape through the qualifiers, it would just be typical of us to do that. I think the only difficult game we have left is the away game in Russia.
Anyway, we still have TFK. Maybe we should design a TFK flag: it would have to be very colourful and have a good picture of the band in the background.
Congrats in advance on your anniversary, by the way. We had ours on 19th July, though I may have already told you that. (Getting old and senile these days!)

Very cute Nikki! Love the part about Hasse's poster on the ceiling. I've restrung Nov's guitars. Wow! What a party! cool

You're gonna have to hide the blonde pretty good if you don't want Nov's wife to find her. Maybe someone should call him on his cell just to warn him wink

I think the best part was watching that TFK groupie during the MTFK viewing. She barely got through the first disc kiss

Well, I'm back at last and pretty knackered (as you predicted Nikki). That was a great post Nikki cheesy

Funny you mentioned the M5 coz we would normally travel up there then around Birmingham on the M42 then over to Huntingdon on the M6/A14. However, luckily enough we heard the traffic news before we hit Exeter that the M5 was a no-go zone due to accidents and "a firearm incident" so we dived off up the A30/A303/M3/M25/A1 route. Took us 8 flippin' hours though huh

Anyway, it's good to be back and I've enjoyed catching up with what you've all been gassing about over the last few pages. I wish I'd heard the new album snippet but it's gone now. The live tracks on Myspace are excellent though.

I'm a bit shagged so just a quickie for now (so to speak) but more over the weekend.

Cheers guys

Nov

PS Glad you're enjoying all your recent TFK purchases Nikki wink

Welcome back Nov, and thanks to Nicki for a lot of entertaining postssmiley Couldn't do anything about the keyboard though, but there are limits to what I can do from here.. And Nov, you may be sorry about the snippets now, and i understand, i almost pissed my pants the first maybe 10 listenings.. But you don't know what you wait for, and maybe that's easier.. sept 29th seems miles and miles away now.. cry

Still haven't watched Disc 2 of MTFK have you nikki? I don't really know much about Circus Brimstone and Stardust We Are regarding quality differences between this version and the Studio version (I haven't gotten SWA yet. sad.), but Silent Inferno is satisfactory by all means, some parts on MTFK are way more powerful than on the studio version.. It is truly amazing how nice sound that DVD has..
But Humanizzimo is simply outstanding.. You thought you loved this song?? wow, I was dissappointed as hell when I heard the original studio version (I know I'm in trouble saying this) after hearing it on the DVD first.. Better drumming, better bass playing, better vocals, because Hasse and Daniel are in too, and overall much better sound. It is maybe my favourite off the two discs, but then in a way, they all are..

And then some good news, I have now ordered the last CD's I needed to complete my collection of TFK music. Unfold the Future, Stardust We Are, Rainmaker and Alive on Planet Earth will soon be in my mailbox grin I have UTF and rainmaker on Mp3 (legally bought, mind you, I would never not support TFK in any way I can) , but i really needed the actual disc's physically in my shelf.. you know the feeling right??

And then some even better news, Roine actually answered me on myspace telling me about TFK coming to Oslo to play in November!!! Tickets should be on sale by now, but there seems to be a problem on the website, but i think i will have the tickets in my hand in about 10 hours..
My First TFK gig!!
OMG, can't wait for that!!
All this combined with Dream Theater, Muse and Porcupine Tree concerts (which I have tickets for of course), the sum of no evil, and a generally happy feeling in my mind.. This may be the best late summer/autumn I've ever had!!!

puh, big post, but hey, haven't checked in for a while.. good night everybody!!
