Echolyn have released their latest album, I Heard You Listening.

User Image

You can listen to it over at Progstreaming, or here at Bandcamp:

http://echolyn.bandcamp.com/

There's some very fine music here, including the rather gorgeous first track, Messsenger Of All's Right.

Unified Past have a new album coming out in September called 'Shifting The Equilibrium.' Phil Naro of Druckfarben and Corvus Stone will be featured on vocals. Artwork by Ed Unitsky.

An album which I really like is:

User Image

It's by a group called Advent. The album's called Silent Sentinel.

The first time you listen to it, Gentle Giant may well be what pops into your head. It would be the more eclectic or more harmonious side of the Giant, to be sure (less the harder rock side).

The second time? Well, perhaps a bit of Caravan (in the vocals) or National Health (some guitar work).

The third time? You'll probably just be listening to the music.

You can listen to the album over at Bandcamp (it's also presently at Progstreaming):

If you'd like to know a bit more about the band, here's their site:

No offence, but I'm not fond of that cover. It's ambitious but it's a bit of a mess. I like detailed album covers, but sometimes they can be a bit too detailed.

I was thinking at first that it was Nad, but then I thought about the album title and figured it must be the 'widow.' Knowing Nad though, and I've met him before, it could very well be him grin

Roine Stolt is jamming with Steve Hackett on the new Acolyte to Wolflight tour!! Great to know that Steve has brought Roine onboard to play bass/12 string. Would love to attend, but don't see them coming to west coast USA.
