I urge everyone to check out Tiger Moth Tales album 'Cocoon.' Check out Peter Jones' story thru the link below, then listen to the track 'A Visit To Chigwick' that I put in the 'What Are You Listening To Now' thread. I'd love to hear what others think of this wonderful music.

I bought this and, as a fan, am a little disappointed with it. Might take a few listens but it is nowhere the level of TUY or EE part 1.

JETHRO TULL - Benefit (Steven Wilson 2013 Stereo Remix)
Previously only available as part of the Deluxe sets, the original album of both 'Aqualung' and 'Benefit' are now available separately featuring the new Steven Wilson Stereo Mixes as well as 24 page booklets adapted from the Deluxe packages.

BLUE FLOYD - Live In Alexandria (3 CD)
BLUE FLOYD are a jam band spin off from GOV’T MULE and the ALLMAN BROTHERS, featuring ALLEN WOODY, MATT ABTS from GOV’T MULE, and BERRY OAKLEY from THE ALLMAN BROTHERS, along with MARK FORD lead guitarist with THE BLACK CROWS, and on keyboards JOHNNY NEIL from DICKEY BETTS BAND and THE ALLMAN BROTHERS. This 3 disc set was recorded on the bands 2000 tour and includes reinterpretations from the PINK FLOYD catalogue.

DISTRICT 97 - In Vaults
After touring both Europe And The US in collaboration with legendary King Crimson Bassist and vocalist, John Wetton, District 97 took to the studio in 2014, to record the new material they had honed both at home and on the road. The resulting album 'In Vaults' continues the great songs and musicianship that has been evident since the band's 2010 debut 'Hybrid Child'.

TIM BOWNESS - Stupid Things That Mean The World (Ltd 2 CD Mediabook) (RELEASE: 17/07/2015)

BRAND X - San Francisco (RELEASE: 24/07/2015)
Brand X have sometimes gone down in history as being Phil Collins' other band. But this is just not fair. The band were ridiculously deft musicians and took their audiences on sonic journeys unparalleled in jazz or rock.

BUGGLES - The Age of Plastic (Ltd Deluxe Edition) (RELEASE: 24/07/2015)
The Age of Plastic is the debut studio album written, produced and performed by British new wave duo The Buggles, which consisted of Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes.

DECKCHAIR POETS - Searchin’ For A Lemon Squeezer (RELEASE: 10/07/2015)
New progressive rock album from the “past masters” LYNDEN WILLIAMS (JERUSALEM). GEOFF DOWNES (ASIA & YES), NICK D’VIRGILIO (TEARS FOR FEARS/SPOCKS BEARD) following up their critically acclaimed 2013 release “Who Needs Pyjamas.”

THE ENID - The Bridge (RELEASE: 10/07/2015)
The band return with their thirteenth studio album THE BRIDGE, following the success of the critically acclaimed 2012 comeback album INVICTA. This is part one of THE BRIDGE TRILOGY. “Over a year ago I spoke to ROBERT JOHN GODFREY about my wish to do a purely classical album.” Joe Payne explains “I felt that there was still a lot of development needed to bring my voice closer to its full potential. On the last album INVICTA I had pushed my voice to its limits, but it made me addicted to learning more about the instrument. The process of development has been a difficult journey, but I was delighted to find that it has inspired the other new generation members of The Enid JASON DUCKER and DOMINIC TOFIELD to take their own journeys of development. The sequels to this album will star them in their roles as Guitarist and Percussion”. A diversion from recent Enid works, THE BRIDGE features no drums apart from Timpani. Vocalist Joe Payne’s semi operatic voice is accompanied by Godfrey’s lush and unfathomably deep orchestrations. Jason Ducker’s ambient guitars provide a psychedelic wash, steering the sound away from the purely classical. An immense choir, provided by Max Read, completes the soundscape.

GOBLIN REBIRTH - Goblin Rebirth (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
The debut album by Italy's GOBLIN REBIRTH, the new band featuring the rhythm section from the original Goblin, Fabio Pignatelli and Agostino Marangolo! GOBLIN REBIRTH mix the classic horror soundtrack sounds of their former band with a chillingly exciting drive that will thrill prog-heads and score-fiends alike. GOBLIN REBIRTH is an instantly classic album that tells the tale of an imaginary film about the birth of an evil dwarf-like monster that sits confidently next to the classic Goblin scores like 'Suspiria', 'Profondo Rosso' and 'Tenebre'. Recommended if you like: Zombi, King Crimson, Fabio Frizzi, John Carpenter, Ennio Morricone.

DAVID GREENSLADE - Time To Make Hay (A Collection Of Original Recordings) (RELEASE: 10/07/2015)
The English keyboard player who had his own eponymous band GREENSLADE as well as being a founder member of COLOSSEUM has been back into the studio to remaster the original recordings he made in the period from 1979 to the mid 90’s which were then re-recorded and released as Greenslade, Colosseum or solo album tracks. These original tracks never before released mostly written by Dave even feature his own vocals as well as playing all the instruments himself.

HARVEST - Northern Wind (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
Northern Wind is the third album released by Harvest, following Underground Community (2009) and Chasing Time (2012). Evolution has been the key for Northern Wind to see the light. Being still true to their style and sound, a touch of new elements can be found on Harvest's third studio album. Emotion is purer than ever, the rhythm is stronger than before, there is more detail and solos are even more enveloping than before. It is clear that both maturity and creativity have a leading role.

JETHRO TULL - A Passion Play (2014 Stereo Mix) (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
Previously only available as part of the Deluxe set, the Steven Wilson stereo mix of ‘A Passion Play’ is now available to buy separately, with a 24 page booklet.

JETHRO TULL - Thick As A Brick (40th Anniversary Stereo Mix) (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
Previously only available as part of the Deluxe set, the Steven Wilson stereo mix of ‘Thick As A Brick’ is now available to buy separately, with a 24 page booklet.

KAIPA - Kaipa (Remastered) (RELEASE: 24/07/2015)
Kaipa's first two albums were probably the pinnacle of 70s symphonic rock in Sweden. The band featured a very young Roine Stolt (Flower Kings) on guitar, plus keyboardist Hans Lundin who also handled vocals (in Swedish so be forewarned). The first album from 1975, features a sound that is very much an amalgam of popular British bands like Yes and Genesis, with a touch of Camel. Lundin's upper range vocals will remind you a bit of Jon Anderson in places. His keyboard work features plenty of Mellotron! This 2015 remastered edition comes with two bonus tracks.

KAIPA - Inget Nytt Under Solen (Remastered) (RELEASED: 24/07/2015)
Kaipa's second album, opening with an epic 21 minute suite "Skenet Bedrar", didn't present anything radically different from the first album and that's a good thing! It's simply beautiful symphonic rock in the tradition of Yes and Genesis. Keyboardist Hans Lundin sings in Swedish but his voice is strong. This 2015 remastered edition includes four bonus tracks.

KARFAGEN - 7 (RELEASE: 31/07/2015)

KINGCROW – Eidos (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
Eidos is a new concept album about choices, consequences, dealing with regret and disillusion. Their earlier albums 'Phlegethon' and 'In Cresc

TIGER MOTH TALES - Story Tellers - Part One (RELEASE: 29/06/2015)
Following on from the success of Cocoon, Tiger Moth Tales are ready to release the brand new album “Story Tellers – Part 1”. After seeing an internet challenge to conceive and record an album in the month of February, Pete Jones was inspired to get back into the studio. To record an album in 28 days was quite the challenge but armed with a vivid imagination and his childhood memories, Pete has written seven songs based on some of the classic children stories he listened to as a young boy. He has put his unique twist to such classic tales as Sleeping Beauty, The Pied Piper of Hamelin and The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and for those of you who like fantastic instrumentation and stunning vocal performances, look no further.

GTR (deluxe) (double cd pre-order)

Steve Hackett and Steve Howe's short-lived mid 1980s AOR supergroup get the Esoteric deluxe treatment.

Re-mastered, this edition includes a bonus CD of GTR live in Los Angeles in July 1986*. There are also three tracks taken from promotional 12-inch singles, two of which appear on CD for the first time.

Contains a booklet that fully restores the original album artwork and features a new essay.

Pre-order for 28th August release
https://www.burningshed.com/

* I attended this gig. How cool is that? The album was so-so, but the gig was pretty cool. I might get this just for the live show.

New Spock's Beard album due for release on Aug. 21st

Sounds like it's going to be good. Ted Leonard of the band Enchant is onboard again as lead vocalist.
