Someone was kind enough to post about Dave Kerzner's great track Stranded a while back. It was a song all Steve Hackett fans are sure to love, given the fact that it featured Steve prominently.

Well, the entire alum is now available. It's called New World, and you can buy it (or just listen to it) over at Bandcamp:

I usually don't appreciate having to purchase the same album twice, just because the artist decided to add a couple of nuances to the original, but Dave has added an entire CD's worth of new music. (143 minutes total) cool

On March 31st, Sufjan Stevens will release his new album, Carrie & Lowell.

Stevens made a name for himself with (Come On Feel The) Illinoise, an album that scored highly on many critics' annual lists at the time (2005). In later albums, his music has been a little less accessible, but all the more "progressive".

Carrie & Lowell might well be a return of sorts to the sound of Illinoise. In any case, I'll snap it up the moment I can. Sufjan Stevens is a bit of a genius, to my mind.
