Check out the DPRP review of her album 'Three.' They gave it a 9/10.

Indeed they did. Of course, this is prog of the Kate Bush variety. If you're feeling a bit more Rushy, IQish or Marillionesque, then this might be a better choice:

It's the new album by Iluvatar, From The Silence, released after some ten years or so of - err - silence. And it's excellent.

At present, I'd say that the eponymous Perfect Beings is probably my favourite album of the year. But this comes fairly close, I feel. Here's a track:

Esoteric Recordings "are delighted to announce that we will be reissuing and expanding the catalogue from the band "Sky" starting in the Autumn."

And this will hopefully include some live video. There is quite a lot available but the quality of footage is pretty rubbish.

Sky? Is that the band from the seventies/eighties who had the talents of guitarist John Williams playing amongst them? If it is then that will be welcome news.Tocatta was a big hit I'm sure, and weren't they on Top of the Pops performing said track?

Neal Morse is having a 2-day concert in Nashville in November. He will be performing the entire 'One' album, as well as other music. Mike Portnoy and guests will be joining him. If I liked to travel, I'd love to go, but that's not in the cards.

Too bad 'cause 'One' is my favorite album of Neal's.

Hopefully with some luck and good weather, I am going to try and make that weekend! I have never heard Neal live and this would be a great opportunity to see the guy I feel has carried the Prog Rock Torch on after Genesis! 8)
