That is very sad news. I was a bit confused, that, when they had become big in Europe, they decided to make a cover - versions - album, instead of coming up with something new, next. I have the impression, that this album didn`t get a lot of attention over here. Maybe a new album with new stuff would have been more useful for them.

It is a shame, that they disbanded. I saw them live once and made the acquaintance of Mark Trueack at that day. A very nice and friendly man. I remember, that the band was quite astonished, about how well known they had become in Europe.

A great loss for the prog world.

Covered Mirror is an amazing Unitopia trib album, with songs we all have enjoyed over the decades. Check out their Genesis covers. Trueack sounds very much like Gabriel.

Also check out their DVD "One Night In Europe." It'll knock yer socks off! cool

I

That is a shame. But have to say the bits of the covers album I heard left me cold.

Trueak has a great voice in the Gabriel/ Garvey mould.

Interesting news.
Personally I thought the last Blackfield album was awful.

The last Blackfield album was more ore less an Aviv Geffen record. Almost no input from Steven Wilson himself. So this news isn`t really astounding. I think, that Steven Wilson has reached a point, where he has to set priorities. Even his days haven`t got more than 24 hours....
