Yeah... It just goes to show that we're all human, and we all get older -- even the icons.

Entropy is a mean thing.

He looks pretty good for his age though!

MOTT THE HOOPLE - Five-date UK tour 2013

Wow! Back on tour in 2013 with original members.

Only UK dates so far.

I'd love to see them. Their music was a big part of my teenage years.

Nope, and I notice that Dale Griffin (drummer) is sick and is being replaced by Pretenders drummer Martin Chambers. Bummer.

Maschine's debut album will be released later this month. For those of you who are Tangent fans and have seen the "Going Off On Two" DVD, you will recognize Luke Machin as the amazing young guitar player in the band. He left The Tangent to form Maschine.

There are a few interesting offers on the Magenta website. For example, you can order the new CD for GBP 12 (+ P&P); for this you also get a 5.1 mix of the album. Not bad.

Did you know that Jimi Hendrix invited Paul McCartney to join a supergroup and record with Jimi himself, Miles Davis and drummer Tony Williams back in 1969?

Apparently Paul was on vacation for 2 weeks and missed the telegram. Paul's agent replied to Jimi, stating that Paul was not available to respond to the telegram himself.

Would have been something if they'd recorded an album together.

Jimi was also slated to join ELP in 1970, but he died before plans were laid out. Greg Lake says he didn't think it would have worked out; maybe for a couple of days, but that's it. Too many egos.
