And from where do these rumours come? I don't like teasers. Just get your hopes up.

I wouldn't give an album 10 listens. Two listens is surely enough! cheesy After a first listen, as a rule, I can generally tell if there's something there.

There are a lot of albums in my collection that I initially felt lukewarm towards but then fell in love with later on.

A prime example would be I Can See Your House From Here.
I have all their albums and this was one of the last ones I got. I recall on my first listen thinking it was perhaps the worst Camel album I had heard.
But I found it compelling enough that I kept wanting to play it over and over again. And with every subsequent listen I found I liked it more and more.

Ask me today, and I'd say it's among my three favourite Camel albums.

From the Royal Hall, Harrogate website,

19 October 2013

Harrogate Royal Hall
In this prevailing era of 'distinguished rock bands', CAMEL stands among the best. Classic survivors in the ultimate sense,CAMEL continue their forward movement and will return to the spotlight in the autumn of 2013.

Tickets On Sale Monday 22 April 10am

Assuming from Belgium, the nearest Dutch trainstation will be Maastricht...and you'll be travelling via Luik (Liege)

From Limbourg to Luik (via Verviers) ?? 30minutes? no idea
From Luik to Maastricht by train appr. 1 hour.

The travel by train from Maastricht to Groningen will take you at least 4-4.1/2 hours (incl stopover at Utrecht)

And don't even think about departure right after the concert shocked no night trains.

So my quick estimated guess: 7 hours. But I have no idea whether the above is the shortest/fastest route.

cost? couldn't say. the maastricht-groningen is about 25 euro one-way. 7.50 for Luik-Maastricht.

Thanks! So it seems car rental would be a better option (not price-wise, but much less time and less of a hassle).

That's one of the reasons I never booked with the Barbican, I was hoping they would be playing somewhere nearer.

Yeah, I reallly almost got Barbican tickets, but gambled upon them coming to Holland for at least 1 gig, knowing they did 8 last tour...
So, good guess.
