I got this Amazon link from an FB group, so if you're feeling a bit keen (and who wouldn't be? smiley), you can pre-order the book now.

I must admit, I'm as fascinated by the prospect of what Phil has got to say as how his publisher is going to make him sound. I would've killed to have got the ghost job on this book *sigh*

Hear hear!!! That is also where I first heard about it!

I am really looking forward to this, but more for his take on Genesis rather than his personal life.

Me too. Not because I'm not interested, but because I feel like Phil's life has been a bit of an open book. While I'm sure he'll go into more detail and shine a light a little deeper into all of it, more insight into the Genesis side of history is something I'm really looking forward to.

It certainly seems like Phil's kind of dark humour, but I don't appreciate joking about death. The interview a couple of years back when Phil appeared suicidal made me sad and worried.

I'm looking forward to his book and I'm hoping he has a lot to tell about song writing and touring both solo and with Genesis.

Phil owes me nothing and I want him to live happily for many years to come. If he releases new music I will buy it instantly, but if he doesn't I will understand and respect his choice.

Hi there

Funny how a while ago I was transcribing an old radio interview with the three of them for TWR and the subject of biographies came up and Phil said that he wouldn't write one as he didn't think they had done anything interesting! Funny how times change isn't it? I am looking forward to this but can't help but feel that it might be sanitized in the same way that Mike's was... it was still a good read and there was some interesting stuff there but you had the feeling that so much more had been left out.

After what happened in January I'm even more glad he's 'not dead yet'. Obscure Monty Python reference.

I wonder why they used 'autobiography' for 'rest of the world' & 'memoir' for US & Canada?

Just seen this:

ANNOUNCING: AN EVENING WITH PHIL COLLINS

Tuesday 18th October at 7.30pm
St James's Church, 197 Piccadilly, London W1J 9LL

To celebrate the launch of his autobiography Not Dead Yet, Phil Collins will be in conversation with Magic Radio's Richard Allinson at this intimate event. Not Dead Yet is a candid, witty, unvarnished story of the songs and shows, the hits and pans, his marriages and divorces, the ascents to the top of the charts and into the tabloid headlines.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from the man himself.
