It matters to me, took a long time to get here
But if it would have been easy I would not have cared
Like a tropical forest, like a cop on the beat
When all is in order you get lost in the heat

I feel so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
I feel so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel

Doesn't matter to me, I could take it or leave it
I could learn from way back when and still live right now
With the sun on my shoulder and the wind in my back
I will never grow older, at least not in my mind

I feel so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
I feel so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
So wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
I feel so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful the way I feel

I'm going where there ain't no fear
I'm going where the spirit is near
I'm going where the living is easy
And the people are kind, a new state of mind

I'm going where there ain't no police
I'm going where there ain't no disease
I'm going where there ain't no need
To escape from what is only spirits at ease

Wonderful is a great tune. They can not only rock yer socks off but just blow you away with some of their acoustic stuff.

Here's another :

"Golden"

Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode
Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before

Watchin' a crowd roll in, out go the lights it begins
A feelin' in my bones I never felt before

People always told me that bars are dark and lonely
And talk is often cheap and filled with air

Sure sometimes they thrill me but nothin' could ever chill me
Like the way they make the time just disappear

Feelin' you are here again, hot on my skin again
Feelin good, a thing I'd never known before

What does it mean to feel? Millions of dreams come real
A feelin' in my soul I'd never felt before

And you always told me no matter how long it holds me
If it falls apart or makes us millonaires

You'll be right here forever, we'll go through this thing together
And on Heaven's golden shore we'll lay our heads

MMJ are great, we Louisvillians are pretty proud of them, I am friends with the lady who married Tom Blankenship's father, he died a few years ago from cancer, I have Tom Blankenship (the bass player) autograph when he still called himself Two Tone Tommy and I went to school with Patrick Hallahan ( the drummer) cousin.

I love the Evil Urges cd so much!

I like that. I should probably give MMJ another look.

Here's your chance. smiley

They just released this video today. It's another new one off the Waterfall album called Compound Fracture. It's not a knock your socks off rocker like a lot of their stuff, IMO but it's a good tune. I like it especially live. Nice touch filming it at Red Rocks. cool

I spent an absolutely wonderfull week in Colorado over Memorial Day. I once again got to see this GREAT rock and roll band play two incredible shows at the magical, mystical, and mind blowingly gorgeous Red Rocks Amphitheater.

I sure hope this becomes an annual thing because while I'm an ocean type of guy and could never live year round in Denver/Boulder/ Nederland, they are great places to visit, with some amazing scenery and fun things to do and see. Tying them in with a couple of shows at Red Rocks is definitely a trip I'd do every year without hesitation, and one I'd recommend to any music fan.

Here's some audio/video of the shows for anyone interested:

Here's night 1 full video:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja7OVbNPlpw

And night 2 as well

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eXe04ljWl_c

Both shows audio are also up on archive.org with some outstanding sounding recordings! 8)

I'll try and get the links and edit when I do.

Here they are and they're two great audience recordings. Guy's rig was set up
on the rail of the row directly behind the soundboard with some sweet mics!

Night 1 audio:

And night 2 audio:

Just got this bad boy back from the framer. It's from 2011 and a beautiful poster by Guy Burwell. I've finally found the matte I like after trying a couple of different colors over the past few years. It's done for good now and getting hung soon.

Thanks Henry. cool

I'm a big fan of Burwell and he's my favorite artist who does MMJ posters. I originally had this done in red, then gold, then brown but I finally found the burnt orange I originally wanted, and made the final change.

I've got a few more so maybe I'll post a couple.

Here's another of my favorite Burwell MMJ posters. It's from the Pantages Theater in LA 2011.
