£9 on the door.
One of the few gigs not supporting The Groundhogs, 'cos I'm not going through that again |

Was hoping it might be Hull, but never mind. Maybe I'll see them another time.
Must say, I'd rather not see Stray supporting the Groundhogs!

Gary Moore - Friday night
Am SO excited !!!!!!
He was Keith's all time favourite ........ and I love him to bits too - but have never seen him live..... Keith saw him loads !!!
So long as he doesn;t do The Messiah Will Come Again (which is highly unlikely) I shall be ok !!!!!!

IBJHFC News / Nachrichten, 16th April, 2009 ************ ********* ********* ********* ********* ********* ********* **
------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- - Orchestra Confirmed for Shrewsbury Festival ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -
It is now confirmed that John Lees' Barclay James Harvest will be performing the second half of their set at Shrewsbury with the National Symphony Orchestra. This is a must-see concert, as it may be the only chance to see the band perform some rarely-heard material with an orchestra, and the line-up for the festival is immense!
The JLBJH performance will not be filmed, so the only way to see this unique performance is to be there.
Confirmed to play on the same bill as JLBJH on the Sunday are Melanie, the electric Strawbs and Jethro Tull. JLBJH will be on last, and will be the only band performing with the orchestra.
The Friday line-up includes The Carl Palmer Band, Wetton-Downes iCon, Jefferson Starship, Steve Howe and Alvin Lee.
Saturday's bill boasts Mostly Autumn, Focus, Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, It's A Beautiful Day, Jack Bruce, Robin Trower and Gary Husband and the original line-up of Asia headlining.
The whole event will be held in an enormous 'Big Top', and tickets cost £85.00 for a full three day pass, or £32.00 for a one day ticket, plus £3.95 p&p per transaction. Camping is also available at the site for £5.00 per day, with toilets and washrooms open 24/7, and even early breakfasts!
Bookings can be made through http://www.new- dawn-events. co.uk/ or tickets can be paid for by cheque - for more information contact:

We should be able to supply T-shirts from the concert very soon, too, and details will also appear on that page.
