Well, just do what the Labour Party and the new Socialist govenment in France propose and spend, spend, spend your way out of austerity.
That way, you can go to whatever concert you like, buy everything you want and get richer in the process

Alternatively, I'll continue spending £10-15 to see the likes of The Floyd Effect and Think Floyd or nothing to see Echoes!

He walked into a valley, all alone. There he talked with water, and then with his no son, his no son of vine!

There are a few jokes in some shows about spending money just to help the economy, like when Marge Simspon buys a very expensive Chanel-brand dress in an episode of The Simpsons. She says "Why not? It'll be good for economy."

I just don't know when to stop! After two phenominal nights in a row of G2, I've got home from Milton Keynes and am going to see Stillmarillion at the Robin tonight!
I will burn myself out! Ah well, I believe in Nikki's signature.

Hi Lesley. Please let me know what Still Marillion are like - I'm going to see them in July.

They were absolutely fantastic! They did Clutching at Straws and Misplaced Childhood. It was like listening to the real thing. (Marillion I mean, not the band that did "You To Me Are Everything"!)
You won't be disappointed, Nige! The lead singer sounds just like Fish (plus he's Scotish so when he talks it sounds authentic too!)

I was supposed to be seeing the Pink Floyd tribute band "Echoes" tonight. But my mate's dodgy knee became so bad that he's now at home after a hospital visit with pain killers, anti-inflammatory pills and crutches. So 3 hours standing up in a pub drinking and watching a live band isn't really on. Fortunately Echoes' gigs are nearly always free, so we haven't lost any money on tickets, but it's still disappointing. So I'm now stuck with a boring Friday night in.

Get yourself down there. Got to be better than a night in front of the telly/computer even if you dont have company.
