Well the book has just arrived.
It's in absolutely pristine condition - doesn't even look like it's been read.

I think I got a bargain! smiley

Lucky dog. I may need to shell out for a "like new" hardback version. I'm really enjoying the book so far.

I just ordered a hardback copy from the UK for $13.29 USD. It says "very good." We shall see.

So, my 13 dollar hardback finally arrived from the UK a couple of days ago, with no padding, and no packaging at all really--just inserted into a plastic bag, with no box or anything. And miraculously it was in almost perfect condition. I'm quite pleased.

So I now have the hardback and the paperback, and by a turn of events I also have the Virgin and Atlantic editions of the Archive 1 box set. So I have duplicates sitting on my shelf and I can't seem to make the decision to get rid of anything. Is that silly? Does anyone else have multiple copies of things?

I have all four Abacab covers on vinyl and two Hello, I Must be Going! records (one has a blue label and the other is black). It's all the same music though.

My copy is priceless to me (although technically it's my son Joe's copy!)
Ant gave him his own copy the very first time we met him!

I don't feel so odd now. tongue

I'd love to meet Ant (or anyone). That's awesome.

The Atlantic and Virgin Archive 1 sets are slightly different. The Atlantic set has a darker cover, and was printed with more blue and silver in the photos. The Virgin set has more brown and tan.

I prefer the Atlantic but I'm keeping both because the Virgin book has tighter binding.

I ended up selling my previous copies of Archive 1 because I found a mint copy.

I'm still slowly making my way through Chapter and Verse. I'm really enjoying it, but savoring it I guess, since there is not an infinite amount of material about Genesis available.

Also sold my paperback copy of Chapter and Verse.
