Well she does have a female symbol under her avatar! wink grin

Whereas Kerry95 has neither a male symbol nor a female symbol under their avatar. To me, Kerry is more commonly a female name but I am pretty sure that Kerry95 has gone on record saying that he is in fact male! grin wink

shocked

I'm not sure why my name came up on this conversation. I take from the context that you've mixed me up with Boredatwork. smiley

As I once said, I took the nickname Kerry from a male comic character. Since I'm from a non-English speaking country, I didn't know that Kerry was more commonly a female name. It doesn't matter, I'll be ambiguous like Alice Cooper, though I'm not as scary-looking as him. cheesy

No problem Kerry and no reason for you to know that Kerry was more commonly a female name in English speaking countries. Nobody was mixing you up with boredatwork. But earlier in the thread, somebody referred to boredatwork as he, which is amusing as she has a female symbol (User Image) below her avatar. There are some forumites, yourself being an example, who have neither a male symbol (User Image) nor a female symbol (User Image) beneath their avatar. This can cause confusion sometimes.

It was me, and it wasn't in this thread, it was in a Hackett GR thread, back when BAW had recently joined. I posted without looking at the symbol, which is unfortunate, as the reason for the post was because we would be sitting next to each other at the gig.

My cheek still hurts! grin

3 or 4 people here have made the same mistake, so it’s not just you. I did idly wonder if it was because expressing opinions forthrightly is a trait that people expect from men?

Anyway it doesn’t matter much in cyberspace, but if you’d still thought I was a bloke after seeing me, then I really would have been offended grin
