Huge fan of the band and followed Jeff's career since his Move Days. Some fab music on all albums plus the last live Zoom DVD is a must.

Zoom is an excellent live album. But to omit the ending of Mr Blue Sky was sacrilege angry

Do you mean the orchestral part? I think the DVD version is just perfect and ends with Richard's vocoder singing Mr Blue Sky. It is similar to Moody Blues song Nights in White Satin which has an orchestral outdo on the album but has mostly ended without that part when performed on stage.

Interesting comment.

There must be more than one live Zoom DVD version. My live Zoom DVD omits the ending completely. And no "please turn me over" vocoder cry

All other live Mr Blue Sky versions I have seen play the full orchestral ending (refrain from opening of Concerto for a Rainy Day).

And youtube version is same as my live Zoom DVD.

This is probably my favourite live version of the song and gives me at least some hope that Jeff Lynne will do it again:

Yes it's a great album and one I played the pants off for a couple of years. Now when I play ELO I only listen to the earlier albums. Those are the ones I enjoy the most.
