Our orders are very similar apart from The Wall. That said, I do really like The Wall but not quite as much as some of the others. smiley

I have a very soft spot for The Wall. It came out, when I was 16 years old and I have very fond memories of that time, which I combine with this particular album. I played it to death. I think, I could hit a stage and sing the complete set without hesitation. I really know all the lyrics backwards.

Same for me, and if we removed the '70s distinction I would insert A Momentary Lapse of Reason at #5.

I haven't included Obscured By Clouds because I don't own it and am not that keen on it having heard it a couple of times. Controversially, perhaps, I regard the 2 soundtrack albums separately from the main studio albums. If anybody else wants to do a similar list and include OBC, they are welcome to do so. smiley

1. Atom Heart Mother
2. Wish You Were Here
3. The Dark Side Of The Moon
4. The Wall
5. Obscured By Clouds
6. Animals
7. Meddle

A difficult ranking for me, but that's about it.

You should have said at the start that your ranking was of "Camel studio albums". Thankfully, I think that most of us are capable of working that out. grin wink

I like all these though the first seven are essentially what I consider to be my favourite Camel albums:

1. Moonmadness
2. Raindances
3. Snowgoose
4. ICSYHFH
5. Camel
6. Stationary Traveller
7. Nude

8. Mirage
9. Breathless
10. ANAAW
11. Rajaz
12. The Single Factor
13. Harbour of Tears
14. Dust and Dreams

A little different from yours, I think, Noni. wink

True, but the following kind of gives the game away:

Eurythmics - Revenge
  1. Thorn In My Side
  2. The Last Time
  3. The Miracle Of Love
  4. When Tomorrow Comes
  5. Missionary Man
  6. I Remember You
  7. In This Town
  8. A Little Of You
  9. Let's Go!
  10. Take Your Pain Away
All 10 tracks on this 1980s classic are excellent to me, so even though I've ranked Take Your Pain Away last, I still think it's a great track. Easily one of the greatest albums ever made IMHO and 100% recommended for any person who likes pop rock. smiley

What like about this site is that we all share a love of anything Genesis. Really interesting list. An "old Genesis" fan with the Genesis album at number 1. Never see that before. Love them all anyway.

Iron Maiden! Well I never quite got over the shock of Paul Di'anno leaving, and never quite got into Killers. However Iron Maiden remains one of favourite albums.

You would love Dust and Dreams plus Harbour of Tears. Both excellent albums. The era when Camel went to Camel Productions were really good in my opinion! smiley
