This poll taught me I'm still not much of a Duke fan. Something about that album that rubs me the wrong way. I think it's the overblown production. Now Abacab, uneven as it is, is full of gems - they really should have gone for a double. Oh, and there's not much love to go round for It's Gonna Get Better!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I have a good amount of "love" for the full version of IGGB, whose existence seems to have been ignored in all box sets/reissues. It's the common edited version from the album (only one verse? seriously?) that I don't have "love" for.

Same goes with "Mama," though to a lesser extent -- i.e., the early fade on the album version doesn't damage "Mama" as much as the edit in IGGB damages that song.

There were 72 album tracks released after Steve's departure. If you add in non-album tracks and B-sides, maybe there are about 90+ tracks. The poll is only asking for lists of 20 tracks. The fact that 2 people included It's Gonna Get Better in their lists seems reasonable to me. After all, there are plenty of tracks that aren't in anybody's lists. wink

Driving The Last Spike, my favourite post-Hackett track, is also doing very well, with 10 other people apart from me choosing it for their lists. smiley

I don't mean to be a rude smart ass, but "Afterglow" had Steve on it. Maybe you're referring to the Three Sides Live version?
