Has no-one mention 'Can't you feel arsehole's ignite'?

I ruined Supper's Ready for a few people when I came up with that.

The Police's "So Lonely" always sounded like Sue Lawley to me! grin

(For those over the pond, Sue Lawley was a TV presenter on the BBC a few years back!)

I'm sure you'll know the track, Nige, it's well known.

I'm wondering why this thread has reverted back into the Supper's Ready board (where it was originally posted) from the FOTLR (where it was moved to). undecided huh

In Broadway Melody of 74,I always mishearing something

Thats the normal lyric

Quote:
And as the song and dance begin
The children play at home
With needles, needles and pins.

I always understand

"With Needles,needles in Venice"
Venice is a town in Italy cheesy

And I can't really sing a Part of Fountain of Salmacis correctly, especially with peter's version

Normally

Quote:
And as his heated breath brushed through the cool mist,

My version

"And as the heatwaves gone through the Kuhmist"

I first heard fountain of Salmacis in End of 2010, that was during that Time when Phils Going Back came out. By the way, Kuhmist means in German " cow shit" cheesy

But isn't it funny that I memorise the Lyrics for In the Cage perfectly, but not for that stupid Song? cheesy

As a kid, my vivid imagination had Britannia giving the imperative, "You play the hobbit whore, I'll play the fool."
