Smallcreeps should be remastered and in 5.1 like Tony's opus Curious Feeling. The transfer of SD is nothing short of shabby and deserves tender loving care so that is heard in all its glory the way it was intended to be heard. Fantastic album.

That is weird - hardly anybody makes it to the end of the book wink

This is without doubt one of my favourite albums ever. It just screams out for a 5.1 surround remix by Mr Davis.

I finally got a chance to download and hear this track today after being curious about it for many years.

I thought it was OK but deserving of its status as a B-side.
Having said that, I would like to see it included as a bonus track if SD is ever remastered.

I echo the opinions that SD should be remastered. I have the original CD and love the album, but it deserves the same treatment as A Curious Feeling. There are so many strong pieces on it, but At the End of the Day probably sits as my favourite.

It's another album that takes pride of place on my iPod collection.

Nice!
It is truly an album that I never tire of. So it has a permanent place in my Ipod too.

I rate Smallcreep's Day as the best solo album outside of Genesis. The Genesis guys made some fantastic solo albums but this tops the lot for me.

Which leads me to wonder why Mike never toured it? Even just a few tracks? This music is too good not be played live and it's a shame it probably never will.

I've had the album on vinyl for some years now after picking it up at Tuebrook Market in Liverpool. I recently dug it out after watching One Hour Photo starring Robin Williams. The otherworldly way the film had been made and the subject matter put me in mind of the music and imagery of the record. I could also half imagine Phil Collins playing the leading role had it been in the late 80s.

Let's not forget to give Simon Phillips some well deserved credit, his drumming is outstanding!

Just re-listened to this album while at work today. It is fantastic! Such good music from beginning to end. I love it so much I sought out a vinyl copy on eBay.

Moonshine rocks! Those bass pedals... cheesy

And the epic has such stirring and emotional passages. Working In Line has some of Mike's finest playing ever. It's clear he was integral to the sound of Genesis.

I've mentioned this before on the Meek's Cafe Board.

In 'The Trip', Steve Coogan is seen to be discussing the Twilight saga in the car with Rob Brydon and he keeps referring to the wan vampire trilogy as Moonshine!

I thought - wow, Steve's got a copy of Smallcreep's Day at home! Maybe the book might have been a better film adaption than Tristram Shandy was but this is probably wishful thinking on my part...I keep imagining Rob as the lift assistant whose clothes change with every floor.
