Acting Very Strange

I thought Noel Mccalla did a wonderful job singing on 'Smallcreep's Day". Why did Mike do all the vocals on this album? IMO, they're dreadful. I really wish Noel would've sung this one also, especially 'Who's fooling who".

It does seem strange chioce of vocalist espcially since Noel appears on backing vocals on this album Must admit to not liking this album much (though it has been a long time since I played it ) Even the cover is a let down- poor set of photos taken in a hall of mirrors (I know-Don,t judge a book...) IMO Smallcreep's day is still his best solo work

I have Smallcreep's Day and think it is great but should I get AVS? I've heard a lot of negativety about and am not sure whether it would be worth getting.

Maybe go to Amazon.com and check out some samples...though I have the album (LP), I have no desire to get the CD. It's just not good enough

Noel McCalla is one of my very favourite singers.
MMEB's front man is a class act.
.......but I don't want to appear boring on this new forum

Manfred McCalla did a fine job (tell you what, let's make that Noel McCalla eh?) on SD - AVS is a bit of a change after that, so prepare your ears. The actual songs themselves are all right, but Mike's style is very different!

Had to smile at Fiona Phillips (no relation, a GMTV presenter and Mirror columnist) saying in her column that she was one of the celebrities endorsing Quick Reads, short paperbacks issued on World Book Day.
The book she's promoting is called A DAY TO REMEMBER! I thought of the Mike song of that name on this album when I saw this.
