Why would you park at the SECC? There is lots of places to park at or across from the Ferry if you are going early (and you will if you are having dinner). You will have no problem parking there.

I just heard that Ian Anderson is performing at a venue that's about 50 miles from my home tomorrow night! Why the heck does it have to be a Thursday night? He's an amazing flautist and quite the minstrel. I'll bet he puts on quite a show.

I find that sometimes the lead artist behind a well-known group is quite often the person responsible for the original band's sound. This was brought to my attention when I went to see Justin Hayward, vocalist/guitarist/songwriter for The Moody Blues. After seeing his 3-hour solo show about 10 years ago, I was quite disappointed with seeing the Moodies at a gig a year or so later. With a solo show it's more intimate, and you usually hear a few more stories that give you insight into the songs themselves.

I will let you know the street to park - opposite the ferry venue (dead simple).
