Tonight: YES (featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman) in Reading, PA.

As opposed to the "other" Yes (with Squire, White, and Howe), whom I saw three years ago.

I wonder which is better. I doubt that either can quite match the old Yes when I saw them at Madison Square Garden in 1978.

At this point, they should just call themselves "Whatever".

More still:

Stevie Nicks & the Pretenders on November 7
Led Zeppelin Masters on January 4
Dweezil Zappa on February 23 (two days after Queen/Adam Lambert)
Hopefully will have tickets to The Musical Box on January 27 tomorrow.

Plus Glenn Hughes next month, Justin Hayward in October & two McCartney shows in December.

Saw Justin 2 nights ago (but not in white satin! smiley) - FeelItComing, you're in for a treat, no spoilers, but among the set were 2 tracks from my favourite Moodies album, To our Children's...., one of them, opening the show, not even a song of his!

You also get the chance to buy the tour edition of "All the way", unlike the store copy, it's a 2 CD set, the second disc being all extra, and including the song, "It won't be easy" a theme tune to a BBC TV show years back called "Star Cops". Blue Guitar on CD 1 is the original Strawberry Studios recording, omitting the extra production on vocals and Guitar, and the Mellotron Strings (Let's hear it for Mellotron Strings! - wink) which allows you to hear Lol Creme's Gismo a lot more.

BTW, did you ever ask hubby, Glenn Hughes fan, if he has the Trapeze albums?

If hubby had the Trapeze albums he had them on LP & I think he may only have had one, and I don't think he brought it with him from the UK. I've just found his LP collection so I will look through it. I found something I didn't know he had - a 12 inch single of Biko!

Glenn's show was great. It was totally Burn, Stormbringer & Come Taste The Band, We knew he was going to do Smoke, but before the show I joked that I hoped for Highway Star, which is a particular favourite of mine. 'He won't do that' said the expert. Well guess what? He did, although I think his voice is a bit high for it. He had a health scare at the Melbourne show but is OK now I think.

Thanks for no spoilers on Mr Hayward.& info on All The Way. I'm ashamed I don't have any of his solo work so I think I'll get it. Looking forward to it.

Well, if you'd like copies, I have the first 3 albums, they're on Threshold (Moodies label) and the first 2 are produced (very well) by John Lodge. The first 2 are very different, as the first has 2 extra members, the Rowley Brothers, who left, and returned to, the Meltones. it is sort of prog folk rock, think 1st Supertramp album for example, the second is Hard Rock, as the remaining 3 members would follow into other bands. the 3rd, sadly, is forgettable.

I just found my original response to your question FF!

http://genesisgts.conforums.com/index.cgi?board=rock&action=display&num=1487365949

I think if he'd wanted the other Trapeze albums he would have purchased them by now.

Is Neko still on this tour or will it be Kathryn filling in for her lead parts (that's how it was for the Brill Bruisers tour show I saw)?

I don't think she is.

I had the impression that she stepped out on the previous leg of this tour, presuming she would be along on this leg, apparently the last. Saturday seems to be the final gig of the tour, so I was hoping she would be there.

Looking at a set list from this past week, it certainly seems to lack any songs that are usually a showcase for her.
