Never seen or really heard Megadeath so not sure what to expect....last saw Priest in the early eighties , but expecting a good show from them.

Megadeth are fronted by Dave Mustaine who was originally the lead guitarist with Metallica before they fired him.They've been going for a while now, theyr'e ok if you like thrash metal.

BJH in Manchester and Stackride in Glasgow in April. Becoming more selective in my gigs mainly due to being a grumpy old man and not having the patience to fend off those who come along, get drunk, spoil the gig for others and become offensive and threatening.

Went to see Howard Devoto & Magazine in their home town of Manchester last night!! - Very good! - Howard is still bizzarely weird! wink

UK Festivals

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are delighted to
be headlining two festivals on Friday, 7th August and Sunday, 9th August, 2009.

On Friday 7th, August they will appear at the
Cambridge Rock festival (new venue at the polo
ground, one mile outside Cambridge) together with
Asia, Focus, Mostly Autumn, The Quireboys and
Simon McBride amongst others. Unusually a game of
polo will also be watchable! Tickets are on sale already.

On Sunday 9th, August, JLBJH will play the
Woodstock 2009 festival to be held at the West
Midlands Showground just outside of Shrewsbury.
It's expected that part of the set will be
orchestrated, but this will be confirmed shortly.
Other band names will be announced soon, but will
be predominantly Classic Rock. More information at http://www.new- dawn-events. co.uk
