Went to see the wonderful Stackridge last night. Very emotional night as this was the last time I will see them as it is their final tour. Brilliant musicianship and a lovely bunch of people.

Would've loved to have heard them along with you, David. Bet it was a great show.

It was superb David and you would have loved it too. Lovely people, wonderful musicians and all the greatest songs by a much ignored and under rated band.

Hi David,

A gang of us went to The Robin on Tuesday, thinking that it was the last time we'd see them. I couldn't resist searching through the remaining dates and booked some seats for Sunday 1st November, at a small place, called Bishops Cleeve, near Cheltenham.

Tuesday was superb, although a standing gig, with 2 support acts, tested the backs and stamina of some wink. Bishops Cleeve is seated and holds 200, so should be a full house.

Steve. You will love Bishops Cleeve. Great little venue with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Just right for this band. smiley May look at going but already have four concerts that week and two the next week so will just have to see if we can stretch the finances.

Saw Crosby, Stills & Nash at Symphony Hall last week which was very enjoyable. But now heading into the busiest period for live music we have had in years starting with Abel Ganz next Friday at Summers End.

Thanks Gary; always nice to try a new venue, especially when others have recommended it wink

Tell me about it! Good job that most of the tickets were bought months ago. It's always busy at this time of year but there are so many concerts that we're already seeing, with a few more to tempt us wink

Joan Armatrading - Friday 10/2 at the Keswick Theater, Glenside, PA
Grace Potter - Saturday 10/3 at Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY

Between both shows, expecting lots of rock, pop, blues, jazz, and a little bit o' country.

cool
