Can't answer that. They are unique with a perfect blend of rock and classical influences. The addition of a vocalist (the stunning Joe Payne) has taken the band in a new and exciting direction while retaining all that is unique to the band sound. They are brilliant live too. Joe Payne has a tremendous vocal range with the ghost of Freddy Mercury at times. He has a great stage presence too for such a young guy.

Totally agree with all your comments there, Ned! Joe Payne reminds me of Freddie Mercury very much! What a polished entertainer he is!

The Bridge show was the best gig of theirs and I have seen them across the last 4 decades. Love the contribution of Max Read, his vocals are spine tingling and compliment Joe's perfectly. Someone will Rise is beautiful live. Did you get to any of the Bridge shows?

I don't know that much about them, Ned. All I know is I saw them at Birmingham Town Hall a few years ago (Francis Lickerish was with them) to accompany Mal off here! He'd lent me a few CDs but I wasn't too sure about them. Then they played at Resonance Festival in Balham last year and they blew me away!! Really looking forward to them again at Progdreams in April! smiley
