I'll be at 6 or 7 of those, as well, Gary grin.

As for others, how about:

10cc, The Robin, 17th July
G2, The Robin, 6th September
Stackridge, The Robin, 11th September
Roger Chapman, The Robin, 17th September (or The Carpet Crawlers, at Lichfield, the same night)
Nik Kershaw, The Robin, 25th September

There's also a trip to see IQ that I'd like to fit in wink

The Move, featuring Bev Bevan and Trevor Burton, at the Robin2 tomorrow. smiley

What a fantastic gig grin. The (local) support band, Prom, were pretty good but The Move were excellent. They played all the hits plus a great choice of covers and one of Trevor's blues songs. About 400 there and a great atmosphere. All for 12.50; the bargain of the year!

I remember that Trevor Burton used to be a neighbour of my Great Gran, living in a side street, off Lichfield Road, Aston. I visited my parents today and Mom reminded me that it was Wainwright Street and that his name was really Trevor Izons and his family's house backed onto my Great Gran's smiley.

I hope we get the chance to see them again soon.

Just got tickets to see the Dave Matthews Band next Friday. Woohoo!

When I first tried to get tickets a few months ago, after two minutes they only had lawn seats. Now, although I disapprove of those Stub-Hub ticket-selling sites, I have obtained seats in the orchestra section for less than they originally cost.

Won't do G2 at the Robin because Canadian band The Mystery are playing their only Uk gig at the same venue 2 nights later and i really fancy that one. Can't do everything. smiley

As for IQ, just let me know which gig you want to go to, though i have a feeling you fancy a trip to De Boerderij in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. wink (looks a great venue with some great gigs lined up)

Very true, saw them one night at Milton Keynes it was ok. I will go and see them again but they are well down the priority list.
As for Mama I promised John Wilkinson I would go and see them when they were in the area and that is the case with the Rugby gig. smiley

Really? There's a big covered amphiteater, behind which is a big grassy hill where people can buy tickets to sit on blankets or chairs, etc. If you're not interested in being near the stage, it can be really nice on a Summer afternoon. Lots of room, bring a picnic basket, inexpensive fun. Unless it rains.
