Steve Hackett - Paris.
Good show in a great venue but I think some of the magic of last year is starting to fade.
Choccy you are right about some of Nad's vocals especially for me tonight Squonk.
Two major highlights for me were bumping into Roine Stolt from the Flower Kings in the bar beforehand.(Got photo's to prove it) , and Nick Beggs giving me a bottle of water at the end, I think he thought the old guy singing and dancing like a loon needed some help. grin
Nick Beggs has always had a great stage presence, so why does he spend most of the show sat down.? huh

I suppose when Peter danced around like a loon it was acceptable. Nad is only attempting to recreate the early Genesis vibe, which when I saw the show was absolutely fantastic. I've met Nad a couple of times at Karmakanic and Agents Of Mercy gigs. He's a great guy and is so very grateful to Steve for being given this role in the band. English is also Nad's second language. Like Roine Stolt, he's originally from Sweden.

I think you misunderstand I was the loon singing and dancing in front of the
stage all night. Thats why Nick Beggs gave me a bottle of water. grin grin

Thanks!
There's a good chance. Coldplay are doing a one off show in Sydney next month and I fully expect them to announce a full tour toward the end of this year.
I saw the Mac back in '09 without Christine but now she is back and after they cancelled last year's tour due to John's illness I expect them back soon with a new album to support.

Hmmm.... Queen + Adam Lambert. I'm not sure, considering Queen these Days is really just two performers...

The Philistans (a rock covers band), tonight, Eastcote.

N.B. Despite the name, I doubt there is a Phil Collins connection. grin wink
