If I can't get to the London gig on the Thursday (because of the planned fecking tube strike) I might well come up to this one and meet you there wink

Yes without Rick and Jon?

No such thing mate wink

I tried Yuggles in 1980 and it just ain't the same without the two most important members.

I know, I know, cutting my nose off, etc, etc but it's just not Yes to me.

It's No then! grin

It was still great, Nov. Having said that, Geoff Downes didn't quite cut it like Rick Wakeman for me but I was still in awe of it all!

Believe me the vocalist is really something special, he actually in this case does a better job with Close to Edge and The Yes album than Jon could do as having a younger voice he really makes it sound like the original recording.
Ask Gab's or Steve Hammond.

Welcome to my world by the way the whole gist of your post sums up how I feel about the G2 thing.

So did I , in fact Dee was wearing her original Drama 1980 tee last night.

After a good nights sleep I can honestly say that they were as good last night as when I first saw them in '77. Despite the fact that they had a few minor sound issues at times.

I am not or never have knocked G2, it's just what floats one persons boat doesn't float everyones.
Even more importantly for me is that I really don't want to get into arguments and fall out with You especially or anyone else of this forum.

As you said last night it will be "my loss" if I don't go to Milton Keynes.
I can live with that.

I'm not arguing, just making a statement! smiley You won't know whether it floats your boat or not until you witness it, that's all. If you see it and don't rate it, fine! At least then you're better placed to comment. smiley

Anyway, I'm getting tired of this. I'm not mentioning any more about the subject.

I know he's good because Glass Hammer are a great band wink

I wish he would stick to that.

Imagine if Genesis announced a tour with the lead singer from IQ and the keyboard player from Go West. Both very good but it ain't Genesis. That's how I feel about this "Yes" line-up.

Give the Friday gig a go and at the very least come and meet us all. As I said to Nigel, that's half of it for me - sharing the experience with everyone wink

I'll shut up now smiley
