Well done Lesley, fabulous guys!

So humble yet so talented.

Absolutely right. I too loved last night's concert but what puts the icing on the cake is when such talented people take the time to spend a few moments chatting with fans. Each of them was very friendly, all signed my setlist and new CD. The drummer would have talked until I'd missed my train wink and the bass player walked over to the Merch Desk and picked up a copy of Missa Atropos and gave it to me shocked. I'd just said that I'd loved seeing them at The Robin, had bought March of Ghosts and asked him to sign the new CD for me. He asked if I had any other albums of theirs and I said no but that I would be picking them up. What a fabulous bunch of guys smiley.

Great to meet Gary and his wife Dee, from here too.

As the London gig has now started, here is the setlist:

Tick Tock 1+2
Vulture
Golem
I've Been Walking 1
Wizard of Altai
I've Been Walking 2
Winter is Never
Splendid Isolation
Black Lily (brought tears to my eyes, it was so good)
Vera

Upside Down
Massive Illusion

Yes I have Lesley.
Before the band released their album "Tick Tock" I was invited by the band to a private rehearsal in Norway.
It was amazing; they played the whole album plus "Night" in students residents bar with an audience of no more that 15 people.
When I arrived they were warming up and stopped immediately and bought me a beer! wink

Yes, and you phoned me and Jan the singer was so very kind to speak to me on the phone.

Also when we saw them in London, after the concert, we could chat with them for a while, and once again Jan was very chatty smiley

Just got tickets to see Yes this July in Philadelphia.

I've only seen them once, in NYC in 1979. This will be the longest span between seeing the same artist live... 35 years, yow! shocked

A rare (for us) comedy gig tonight: Frank Skinner at Birmingham's Symphony Hall

This Sunday, at The Robin - The Abbey Road Experience (playing all of that album, in order, plus other Beatles songs)

Next Monday, at Symphony Hall (front row wink) - Neil Finn, showcasing his new album, Dizzy Heights.

May is already looking very busy grin

I'm hoping to be there with Jez, Steve! Didn't think you'd be there as I thought you were doing your marathon in Stratford that day. huh

Next gig for me is G2 Peterborough tomorrow. smiley
