Often thought that could be a good thread: Potential names for tribute bands.

EG/ Deeley Stan: Cat Deeley and Stan Boardman pay tribute to one of America's finest.

Axl Tramp: A tribute to Gun's 'n' Roses 'n' Supertramp. (Anyone who's ever been in a Morris Marina will know what Axle Tramp is!) And yes, I know "tribute to" and "Gun's 'n' Roses" don't go together! grin

I think Stanley Dee is the best tribute name I've ever heard!

For reasons I won't go into, my wife came up with one accidentally today - "Pink undertones" - Bronski Beat and the Undertones, presumably! laugh

I wouldn't have minded seeing Gazpacho but they aren't coming to Manchester and Leamington Spa is too far away, seeing as I'm working next Monday and Tuesday.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the music ,Steve smiley

Interesting stories in their songs; quite sparse playing (no real solos); intense and thoughtful music. I've only seen them play live once but was really impressed. Really original but I find hints of Radiohead, Elbow, even Steven Wilson in their music. On top of all that, they seem smashing guys and all happily signed the new album, at that time, March of Ghosts, for me.

Well worth a try, IMHO wink
