How were FB, Nige?

Cheesy (of course) but musically and vocally excellent. However, whilst their line up has been pretty stable at recent gigs I've seen, this one had a different "Lindsey Buckingham". grin The previous "Lindsey" was the only remaining band member who had been at every show of theirs that I had seen. This "Lindsey" looked like Rory McGrath grin, but could sing and play fine. The only disappointment was that for the encore, "Stevie Nicks" came out dressed in her "Rhiannon" hat but they didn't play Rhiannon. shocked sad

I've seen two different "Lindseys"! The best I saw was the thinner one as they did more Peter Green stuff with him.

When I first saw them 4 or 5 years ago, they used to play quite a lot of Peter Green era material. Nowadays it tends to be just a couple of tracks - last night they were Oh Well and Need Your Love Tonight.

Are you a Farnworthian? I was born just up the road from the Moses Gate down by Farnworth Town Hall.

Fortunately not lol! I'm from Hindley but I do have a mate who lives in Rawson Street and tend to stay at his overnight if I go to the Moses

There are so many Led Zeppelin tribute bands. I seem to recall you mentioning another one called Fred Zeppelin - great name grin - elsewhere.

Yeah, I've seen Fred a few times. They've been going for years up here in the Midlands. They're a bit hit and miss though. Letz Zep were the best I've ever seen.
