There seem to be a lot of Floyd tribute bands playing in Wigan this month. I'll probably go to Pink Floyd-ish this Saturday

Apparently from Liverpool. I've not been on their website to check them out yet.

Roger's Floyd were pretty good last Saturday. Only four of them but definitely worth watching.

Hi Dave.

I thought Pink Floydish had disbanded a year or two ago? Guitarist and leader is a mate of mine...where is their website?

Best wishes

Hello John,

Found them advertised on NWbands as Kev(ex pink floydish)

http://nwb.co/pinkfloydish

A bit of a strange one as the same venue has a rock band called Vera Cruz on the same night and they're pretty good too

The Cavern Beatles at The Robin tonight...a regular Christmas Eve treat for us in recent years but a couple of days early this year.

Hi there

My next gig will probably be Los Endos at The Robin next month. Far too busy with book/TWR stuff at the mo but I hope 2014 is as good a year for gigs as 2013 was.

Hope you enjoy it. We saw Nearly Dan, at The Robin, on Friday; around 300 people there. They are a great band, with 3 horn players, 2 female backing vocalists plus 5 superb musicians. We've seen them every year for the last 6 years. They play a lot of gigs; well worth seeing.

Thanks Steve. This will be the 8th time I've seen Stanley Dee and they've always been excellent. They feature two horn players, three female backing singers - Amelia is gorgeous - four fine musicians and a really good lead singer. And to top it all, nearly all their gigs - including today's - are FREE entry! shocked cool
