It turned out to be just "Debbie Harry" and "Chris Stein" singing and playing guitar live over backing tracks. shocked Had it been the usual 10-12, I might have been disappointed. But it was free in a new Watford venue called "The Flamingo On The Pond" grin and so was a good evening. The first half was Blondie's greatest hits and the second half was various covers ranging from The Monkees to Blur via Cockney Rebel, Madness, Kim Wilde, Eurythmics and Soft Cell. "Chris" was also very good on lead vocals in a number of different styles. smiley

I saw them on Friday and they were pretty good. I thought the last encore was a bit dodgy though. I'll not spoil it,but it would be interesting if you shared my opinion

Not the real ones - that's why I put their names in quotes. wink I think that the lady playing Debbie Harry calls herself Debbie Harris, but I have no idea of the name of the guy playing Chris Stein. grin

Paul Carrack at The Robin this Thursday (already sold out)
Leo Sayer at The Robin this Saturday

Will be a nice change after all the prog in the last fortnight, much as I have enjoyed that wink.

Brit Floyd at B'ham Symphony Hall this Sunday, a dozen of us going smiley.

ReGenesis at either Bromsgrove (14th) or The Robin (21st) or maybe both wink.
