Maybe “cringe worthy” is a bit harsh, but the trouble is once you’ve seen the old film footage of Peter, no one else is ever going to get it right, are they?
It helped having Steve centre stage, so you could focus on him.
Looking forward to going again on Oct 26th smiley

Steve may very well appreciate his contribution to this show. That's great.
I don't.

I understand where you all are coming from. I try to have a better appreciation for performers who attempt to sing in English when it's their second language. Nad is Swedish.

Yes, his nervousness does show onstage. I've seen him perform with Karmakanic and Agents of Mercy, and he was the same way at those events as well.

Being a lover of all things prog, I look beyond the surface and see the passion that Nad has for the arts. I've met him a couple of times at CalProg events and he's a very nice guy.

I know for most people you just want to hear something easy on the ears and I understand that.

To each his own... smiley

Agree with this, except it wasn't so easy for me to block.

He's a very striking (creepy but striking) looking character, the hair, the height and could be fun to watch if he wasn't so awkward and his singing didn't bother me. grin

I couldn't help but notice his coat and pants were filthy and creased too, whats with that?

He looked like a pirate that came out the wrong side of a fight.

Yes have ANOTHER singer shocked but from the YouTube videos he sounds pretty good.

After I see Gabriel, the only member of Genesis I won't have seen will be Tony Banks and I don't think he'll be touring anytime soon... sad
