That must be one of the shows where Simple Minds have Ultravox as support, meaning two of my favourite 1980s bands at the same gig. Hope you enjoy it NSOV. smiley

Thank you, D&O. Though I'm not too big a fan of Simple Minds, my Dad and brother like them very much (it was my brother who bought all the Simple Minds studio albums on iTunes I own, not me! grin) and because the band's work is growing on me slowly and steadily, it'll be great to see them live. cool

The Bryan Adams Experience, Thursday 26th September, Watford.

Not a bad band but they didn't play a single song from Into The Fire sad and they need a keyboard/piano player.

It's been quite a long time since I've been to a gig (I think the last one was Flying Colors almost exactly a year ago). Next one is probably Steve Hackett in Cambridge on 1st November, unless I somehow manage to get myself to Kingston for the Carpet Crawlers gig on the 26th of October (not looking likely I'm afraid).

An easier gig to get to would be Regenesis in Islington on 23rd November. Fingers crossed for that one.

Was it you or was it me? Or was it he or she?

NB: despite what my name may suggest, I was not born in 1972 tongue
