Friday night - Keane at Newmarket Nights.

An evening of horse racing followed by live music - hope the rain stays away.

Back at Newmarket the following week (16th) for Meatloaf!!!

My brother in Oregon just texted me that he's going to see Steely Dan next Tuesday. I'd love to see them again. Last time I saw them was in 1973; my first concert ever. Geez! I'd give anything to go, but it's 1000 miles away undecided

I told my brother about State Cows; Sweden's version of Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers/Chicaog all in one. All original songs. Check 'em out if you've not yet done so smiley

cheesy

I don't know any of his solo stuff, so before buying the tickets I looked up the setlist of one of his recent shows (www.setlist.fm is a great site). No "Awaken." He did a section of "Close to the Edge," as well as "Roundabout," "Yours Is No Disgrace," "Starship Trooper," Heart of the Sunrise," "Soon," "And You And I," and a few others. Good seats for $35. I'm very psyched to see this! smiley

I've seen him a couple of times in recent years. He definitely puts in a great performance.

Thanks, Henry. I saw him once with Yes in 1979. So when I see him again it will be... 35 years later! Scary.

I guess so, though I didn't own Tomato and never have. It was "Yes in the Round," the band on a revolving stage at Madison Square Garden in NYC. It was a massive spectacle. smiley

It Must Be Madness (Madness tribute), tonight, Ruislip. I'm not a big fan of Madness, but I think their songs could be good fun live. smiley
