Hoping to get one of these type of colaborations at the AmericanaramA show Sunday night.

A little taste of Jim James, and Jeff Tweedy joining Dylan on stage for a cover of The Band's "The Weight". cool

We didn't get that but did get a couple of great covers during MMJ's set. There was a weekend fest going on in the park next door, and it poured from about 4:00 on, and a couple of band's got cancelled. So of course in classic MMJ style they invite a couple of the guys from Dawes onstage for this cover of the Stones " Waiting On A Friend" cool

Ryan Bingham, MMJ, and Wilco were all fantastic, and Dylan was well,Dylan. Still enjoyed his set, but for me he was the low point of the night.

Odd bits of Foo Fighters are OK for me, but I'm not always keen on Dave Grohl's vocals. Hypermused are on first and I'll watch all their set. If Food Fighterz don't grab me after half an hour or so, I'll leave. I still maintain that a Muse tribute band supporting a Foo Fighters tribute band in the UK, given the profile of the two bands being tributed, is wrong. angry

Could be more about the popularity of the tribute bands? Anyway, both real bands are very popular here. smiley

That's possible. However, as a Muse fan I'm still miffed.

Absolutely! Also maybe they're putting the better trib on second. It'd make sense to I think.

Hypermused (Muse tribute)

Hypermused played the following set:

Dead Star
Micro Cuts
Darkshines
Showbiz
Hyper Music
Supermassive Black Hole
Map Of The Problematique
Uprising
Hysteria
New Born
Plug In Baby
Knights Of Cydonia

cool

Food Fighterz played some songs. grin

P.S. Food Fighterz were OK and I recognised a number of songs due to frequent Foo Fighters airplay on Absolute Radio. I even stayed for all bar the last half hour. wink

You must need quite an elaborate candelabra for that, one that even Liberace would be jealous of! grin
