We were in 101, but we couldn't see you among the thousands. I thought it was a great show musically. It was really nice to see Bernie Leadon back with them. Don and Glen are a little stiff onstage but Joe Walsh made up for everyone else's lack of energy.

Agreed, I made some comment abut this in one of the FOLR topics. Glad you enjoyed!

Tomorrow night in Bridgeport CT. For me.

Replace Richard Thompson with Ryan Bingham, and it's the same AmericanaramA lineup.

That other band btw, will be who my main interest will be in making the road trip.Well them, and some great friends who love this band as much as I do. That would be My Morning Jacket,of course! wink

Yeah, but how'd you like their set? I know it was short, and early, but I thought the setlist looked pretty good.

They have a lot of great songs, and only a limited time on stage, so I think I'd be happy with any set of songs they do. It looks like you got an excellent show in Bridgeport. cool

I'm with you on that Henry. I get a big kick out of seeing them live, and find myself enjoying any set. Even though this was a short one, we knew going in that it would be. Throw in that it was to be an off year fot them, and I was thrilled with just seeing a show. The only disappointment for me was not getting a MMJ/Wilco colaboration, but we did get Tweedy and Jim James coming out to play a song with Dylan towards the end of his set. cool

I enjoyed Ryan Bingham opening the show, but really would've liked to see Richard Thompson more, and the same for Bob Weir. I think seeing Bobby cover the Dead's " I Know You Rider" with MMJ would've been about as good as it gets for me. Well, next to seeing Bruce jam with them. grin

I'm looking forward to doing this all again in a week at Camden. It was a loooong day, but well worth it. wink

No more gigs this month, but next month looks quite promising with:

Bootleg Blondie
Hypermused (Muse tribute)
Stargazer (Rainbow tribute)
The Book Of Genesis

There are 1 or 2 other possibilities as well. smiley

Hoping to get one of these type of colaborations at the AmericanaramA show Sunday night.

A little taste of Jim James, and Jeff Tweedy joining Dylan on stage for a cover of The Band's "The Weight". cool
