I thought about going to see them in Manchester tomorrow night(Thursday) but too much of a rush so I think I'll settle for Wishbone Ash this Saturday,if I can. smiley

Utterly awesome show tonight. I would urge you and others to go see this amazing band. Joe Payne on vocals is frightening as his range defies belief. Incredible musicianship, moving and track list that is diverse and rich in melody.

Seems like there were plenty of others who thought the same way, Lesley. A few years ago, Stackridge used to regularly pull in over 200 at The Robin. Last year was around 140 and last night was about 90. At 12.50, the tickets were cheaper than many tribute band gigs...I'm not sure how much longer they will be playing, with audience numbers this low sad

They still put on a superb performance, including 2 new songs and those present gave them a great reception. Julie and I will be seeing them next Wednesday, at the Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury, for 14 each.

I saw them in November for the first time and they were excellent. Unfortunately,I only finish work at 7 and then have to get home, eat, shower, etc so I'll have to wait til next time sad

Glad you enjoyed it and Joe Payne does have an excellent range. He reminded me of Freddie Mercury at times

Yes, if Queen ever reformed then he would be ideal as the front man.

Edit to say dates have been pulled, and that link won't work. Looks like someone in Bob's camp jumped the gun a bit, and posted the dates early.

Ok Henry, that link is working now. Toronto presale is April 30th.

Btw, scored a pit ticket today for this show in Camden N.J. smiley cool
