This will be an important and emotional gig for the band and I know how they'll feel.

I don't know them but wish them all the best smiley

It'll actually be their fourth gig with a new guitarist but my first with him.

Well I heard some news you might like. Word is My Morning Jacket will be playing some shows this summer with Bob Dylan, and a third as of yet unannounced band. All signs are pointing towards Wilco being that band, with the possibility of them alternating closing the shows.

You know I'll be there, and as soon as I get anything official, I'll let you know.

Yup, heard about the Dylan/MMJ tour combo. Hope I can make it to a show. I saw Dylan with Mark Knopfler back in November. Absolutely excellent.

BTW, Jim James is playing Toronto this Wednesday, but I'll be away on work related duties. undecided

Yeah, that sucks you'll be out of town. The show is getting some nice reviews. The 1st part is the new album in order, followed by a couple of solo accoustic MMJ tunes, and a bit of stuff from his Monsters Of Folk and New Multitudes side projects. Hope you can make one of the shows with Dylan.

Now we just need some dates.
