Well the knight in shining armour didn't turn up so I decided to risk the car. And what a risk well worth taking it was! Caravan were absolutely superb! Fantastic music and fantastic musicianship!

Great to have the company of Steve Hammond and "Busby." smiley So glad I went! smiley

Is there a Sheffield in Canada, Dave, or do you mean in England? If so was it at the Boardwalk?

Tonight, an awesome Canadian jazz singer, Holly Cole, at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto.

I saw a performance on PBS television here in the states by a guy named Jesse Cook. The performance was at The Rose Theatre in Brampton. This guy was amazing!

Jesse Cook is relatively popular around here. He's definitely a very good guitarist. But I can't say that I'm much of a fan. I find his music a bit, um...flamenco-lite. Someone once let me borrow one of his CD's. There were two songs, different titles, that were virtually identical to each other. I found it quite insulting.

On a related note, I saw Turn It On Again, the Martin Levac (a past member of The Musical Box and Phil Collins tribute guy) led band at the Rose Theatre a few years ago. Great venue to see a show.

And BTW, Holly Cole was fantastic tonight. cool
