Nearly Dan are one of the finest tribute bands I've seen. I'm looking forward to our whole family seeing them, plus a good friend joining us.

I've seen Stanley Dee a couple of times and whilst I'm not a big Steely Dan fan, I've thoroughly enjoyed their shows. My mate who is a bigger fan of the original band says that Stanley Dee do full justice to Steely Dan's music. And they come with not one but two Brucie bonuses:

1. Their gigs, at Watford at least, are FREE! shocked cool
2. I really fancy one of the backing singers! kiss grin

So at the end of the day, I don't need any more reasons to do it again. wink

Yes, I have always loved Do It Again and would say that it is easily my favourite Steely Dan track. smiley

Steely Dan were my first gig in 1973, opening for Bread. Very cool show!

Their 3rd album, Pretzel Logic, wasn't released until 1974, but I do remember them playing "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" from that album. Denny Dias and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter on guitar were amazing!

G2, The Robin, Bilston on the 19th.

Trust me Sue when I say this but this guy is destined for greatness and is one of the finest singer songwriters I have ever seen live. A true gem, lovely guys and soooo talented. He is now getting more rave reviews and bigger audiences. You will love his music in a live setting.

The UK Pink Floyd Tribute Show, Watford, Thursday 10th January. This band will be new to me but whatever else, they must be in the running for the most boring name ever for a tribute band. grin wink
