Great set list but are you sure that they really played the whole of SOYCD, i.e. parts 1-9 lasting 25+ minutes? shocked If they did, then that must have been awesome indeed. cool

Oh... undecided I just assumed they played the whole song in order to stay true to the band. Never mind then... lipsrsealed

Don't worry about it. Parts 1-5 still sound awesome.

Great band! They've only been gigging for a few months and the bass player was a stand in but you wouldn't have known.

Forgot to post on here yesterday. Went to see T.Rextacy last night at the Robin with Redhead. What a great night apart from the couple who failed to stop snogging in front of us for the duration of the first half! rolleyes Anyone would have thought they were teenagers rather than late 20s/30s! Think they were on something, especially when they sat on the floor at half time! Fancy sitting on the floor in the Robin! I'm surprised they could peel themselves off to get up it's that sticky! They disappeared for the second half. Maybe someone did what I suggested and told them the Robin has rooms upstairs! grin grin grin

Lesley, you are being too kind, he looked nearer our age (late 40's!!). Imagine yesterday morning when they both woke up, sober and thought Who the hell are you!. Great night anyway, good atmosphere. The Robin could do with more busy nights like saturday. Maybe they could get the floor cleaned properly then.

Good band; good audience. As a non-expert, Do It Again was my favourite track. And the clincher was the pretty blonde backing singer kiss, one of three, backing singers that is. wink

Isle of Wight Festival this coming weekend, which features none other than our Steve Hackett on the main stage on Sunday afternoon.

Other artists of intrest over the weekend are;
Elbow, Pearl Jam, Biffy Clyro, Big Country, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Hue & Cry, The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry, Tobi & Andy Fraser (of Free), Terry Reid, The Christians, Roachford, Beth Hart.

There's a whole bunch of other stuff, indie bands and dance stuff but I'm not so interested in that.

Thanks, I hope we have good weather too as I'm responsible putting a large chunk of the site straight afterwards, was down there this morning and heavy overnight rain already causing problems undecided.

Forgot to mention there is also Stackridge and the Brit Floyd!
